WELCOME TO LEAD WITH LOVE

Our intention with this gathering is to inspire participants to find what lights them up and to share that more effectively with the world. We will be exploring Mind, Body and Spirit during these 4-days together including time in nature, lunch and dinner conversation, and workshops with global thought leaders. The base will be two heart-opening yoga classes per day as well as thoughtful, curated conversations and workshops.

This transformational event supports Aspen City of Wellbeing, a non-profit organization dedicated to shifting culture towards an optimal state of wellbeing for all.

Lead With Love, October 26th-29th 2017.

Yoga, Right Where You Are
sailboat captain, yoga teacher, writer, photographer, AirBNB superhost, dishwasher extraordinaire, budding vegan chef
somewhere on Planet Earth, most likely on an ocean or mountain
As a single mom and Emergency 9-1-1 Dispatcher, I first came to yoga to manage stress and stay fit. I soon discovered yoga's many therapeutic benefits. Each yoga teacher training led me to deeper curiosity and more trainings. After attending Off The Mat, Into The World's Yoga In Action Leadership Training in 2010, I helped birth the Aspen Jail Yoga Program. Since then I have taken my yoga on the road and out into the ocean. In 2016, my husband and I sold our house and bought a sailboat. We now split our time between living in a converted Sprinter Van that we call our Oasis Van and living on our Sailboat, Deep Peace. From sharing my love of yoga & meditation with my 9-1-1 co-workers between emergency calls to teaching yoga and meditation in the jail to doing yoga in airports, libraries, living rooms, highway rest areas, marina docks, and, yes, of course, on sailboats, I have developed a Yoga, Right Where You Are practice and class that can be offered in 15 minutes right where we are or 3 hours in a more traditional studio environment or any amount of time in between. My particular interests are post-traumatic growth (transforming trauma into thriving) and protecting and growing the Commons (ecological and economic). These days you can find me somewhere on Planet Earth practicing & teaching yoga, hiking, paddling, sailing, bicycling, reading, writing, photographing, deep in conversation with boat AirBNB guests, or singing silly songs with my 1 year old granddaughter.
